Fried Chicken
This is a really easy chicken recipe. I usually serve this one with some home made french fries.
| Ingredients: | 4 medium sized chicken joints (washed and dried) |
| 2 level tablespoons of flour | |
| Some Milk | |
| Salt/Pepper | |
| 75g/3oz of butter | |
| 1 tablespoon of olive oil | |
| 1 tablespoon of lemon juice | |
| 1 level tablespoon of chopped parsley |
- Dip the chicken in the milk.
- Mix the salt and pepper with the flour. Then use the mixture to coat the chicken.
- heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan.
- Add chicken joins and fry until one side is golden.
- Next turn the chicken over and cover the pan.
- Continue to fry gently for about 20-30 minutes until tender (Make sure you turn the chicken at least twice in this period).
- Once cooked, remove from the frying pan onto a serving plate.
- Add the lemon juice and parsley to the remaining butter in the pan and quickly heat through.
- Pour over on the fried chicken.
